Sorbus aucuparia 'Edulis' (syn. Sorbus a. var. moravica) has a loose, narrow pyramidal to oval crown that is more regular than that of the species. Height 8 - 12 m. The twigs are thicker than those of the species and the leaves are larger and darker. Another difference is that the fruits are more abundant and larger, diameter approx. 1.3 cm.
