In the official statement, the ministry warns against excessive cellphone use, particularly when reception is bad, in fast moving vehicles, and use by children in general. The reason? Well, none, other than a suspicion that phones might be bad for you:

As the hypothesis of a risk cannot be entirely excluded, precaution is justified.

The source for these unfounded fears is even better. A World Health Organisation report in 2006 turned up new evidence that cellphones pose any kind of health hazard. The report did, however, find that using an analog phone for more than ten years might increase the risk of tumors. That's right. Analog phone. When was the last time you even saw one of those?
