An lichten Stellen fand ich auch hier Lamium garganicum, vollblühend, sehr wenig Saxifraga und die seltsame Satureia cuneifolia, im Moose kriechend eine Linaria, die noch nicht blühte. Hier war alles voll Paeonia Russii, syn. Paeonia peregrina var. latifolia, eine der stattlichsten mir bekannten Päonien. Leider war die Blüte vorüber und die Pflanzen in Frucht. Wir wanderten nun durch den herrlichsten Urwald zu einer fernen Waldblöße, wo das vielleicht böswillig angelegte Feuer die Bäume vor etlichen Jahren zerstört hatte. Hier sah man verbrann
